Required Information

  • Title of your entry

  • Name of the organisation entering - Please note that for organisations making a submission on behalf of a client, the name of the entering organisation shall be the name of the client.

  • Briefly describe your organisation activities and sector

  • State turnover and number of staff (as full-time equivalents) in each of the last two years:

    2010 (or FY 10-11), Turnover, Staff

    2011 (or FY 11-12), Turnover, Staff

  • Has your organisation had any legal infringement of insurance claims that could be relevant to your entry within the last five years? (If yes, you will need to disclose this information).

Specific Questions You Will Need to Respond To:

 

  • Summarise your entry in maximum 100 words. Why should your organisation win a Green Business Award?

  • What have you achieved? Describe the results or beneficial outcomes of your initiative(s), including for the environment, financially and in other ways (e.g. for waste reduction: “between 2006 and 2008 we reduced our total waste by 24%. This is equal to 45,000 tonnes of waste avoided.”). (Max 200)

  • What is new or different about what you have done or achieved? Describe elements of innovation or originality in your entry and identify any particular sources of inspiration. (Max 200 words)

  • How do you intend to build on your efforts in future? Describe elements of continuity or forward planning aimed at securing continued progress. (Max 200 Words)

  • How can your initiative or example be replicated or taken forward by others to the wider benefit of the environment and of society? (Max 200 Words)
